Oxiteno - Coatzacoalcos
Acquired in 2022
Oxiteno was established in Mexico in 2003, marking the beginning of its international expansion. It now has three industrial units (in Coatzacoalcos, Guadalajara, and San Juan del Río), where it produces nonionic and anionic surfactants as well as fatty esters. In 2015, it expanded its production capacity in the country from 56,000 tons to 86,000 tons, diversifying its product portfolio, increasing its operational flexibility and expanding sales in the Mexican market and other regions. The port of Coatzacoalcos has a privileged geographic location, in the region of the “Istmo de Tehuantepec” with the shortest distance between the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico (only 302 km).
