In the 1970s, Oxiteno was driven in Brazil by the entrepreneurial spirit. The company acquired this industrial plant in 1974 and it was the first site to produce fatty alcohol and derivatives in Latin America. Nowadays, it produces alkoxylates, oleochemicals, glycols, ethanolamines, ethers and mineral oils.
