In November 2014, IVL Holdings, S de RL de CV, through a joint venture, acquired the business of M&M Polymers, S.A. de C.V., a PET recycling plant located at Jalisco State. The site has been renamed to Indorama Ventures EcoMex.

As part of our sustainability goals, the plant installed a second production line to transform PET bottles into raw material. The washed flakes are then supplied to Indorama Ventures Polymers Mexico, PET Division in Querétaro to produce a post consumer recycled resin under the brand FuTuRePET®.

Currently, Indorama Ventures, through its affiliates, owns 100% of this plant.
