Indorama Ventures Poland
Acquired in 2011
This site was established in June 2002 in Wloclawek, Poland and began operations in May 2005. It was part of the acquisition from SK Chemicals, which included assets in Indonesia. The site is integrated providing a logistics advantage due to the location of a third-party. A purified terephthalic acid (PTA) facility nearby together with other major feedstock such as MEG and DEG are locally available. The unit has experienced rapid growth since being acquired, increasing its production capacity by debottlenecking, expanding to new markets.
