Wellman International (Ireland) is Europe’s leading producer of high quality polyester fiber products from recycled post-consumer PET bottles. Each year, 2.2 billion post-consumer PET bottles are recycled to make the Wellman fiber portfolio of products at this facility, with a capability of converting other waste polyester products into 100% recycled fiber. The company is one of the largest European PET recyclers, with two flake processing facilities in The Netherlands and France which have a combined flake capacity of 70,000 tons, which service fiber production in Ireland.
