Indorama Fibras Brasil is the most traditional and the largest polyester fiber producer in Brazil. The plant in Cabo de Santo Agostinho, state of Pernambuco, was erected in 1969, and produces high quality polyester staple fibers from 1.1 dtex to 3.0 dtex, textile polymer and flexible packaging polymer - film grade. These products go to very diversified final applications, serving customers in the apparel, home textiles, hygiene, specialty film and nonwoven industries. The fibers are delivered in Brazil – Northeast and Southeast receive the majority – and Argentina; The film grade polymer and textile grade polymer are delivered in in Brazil.
