Indorama Ventures celebrates successful showcase at FTI Expo 2025, highlighting alternative feedstocks for a sustainable future

Bangkok, 19 February 2025 – Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited, a global sustainable chemical company, successfully showcased its latest sustainability innovations under the theme “Indispensable Chemistry” at FTI Expo 2025 organized by the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) from 12-15 February, 2025 held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event highlighted the company’s leadership in alternative feedstocks, advancing bio-based and recycled materials to drive a low-carbon and circular economy.
A key highlight of the event was the special seminar led by Dr. Tinnaphop Santadkha, Sustainability Coordinator at Indorama Ventures, titled “Alternative Feedstocks: Pioneering the Future of Sustainable Innovations”. Dr. Santadkha provided expert insights into the company’s efforts to expand its bio-based and recycled PET feedstock portfolio, targeting 16% bio-based and 23% recycled PET feedstock by 2030. He emphasized the critical role of advanced recycling technologies in enhancing cost efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
Visitors at the Indorama Ventures booth explored four zones showcasing sustainability initiatives. The Sustainability and Decarbonization Zone highlighted carbon reduction solutions, solar power integration, and biofuel adoption to support Thailand’s green transition. The Recycling and Circular Economy Zone featured recycling innovations sustainable waste management insights and circular economy education. The Innovative Product Showcase Zone presented groundbreaking PET solutions, including the world’s first monolayer PET sparkling wine bottle (SIPA), ISCC+ certified bio-paraxylene PET bottles, and Deja™ brand carbon-neutral PET. The CSR Initiatives Zone highlighted key collaborations, such as the Sustainable Plastic Waste Management Project with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and RECO Collective 2025, promoting 100% rPET fibers for sustainable fashion and furniture products.
Indorama Ventures served as a key partner with FTI, contributing to the empowerment of Thai industry and the advancement of Thailand’s future.
