On 11th January, Thailand Children's Day, the Corporate CSR Team at Headquarters were organized two exciting activities to inspire environmental responsibility among kids and families.

At Riverside Plaza, we invited all kids to discover the importance of waste types and separation practices through the engaging “Waste Hero” Activity. More than 300 kids participated, with over 90% demonstrating an understanding of recyclable and non-recyclable waste and pledging to separate waste at home. Moreover, we contributed 7 cash scholarships and distributed over 70 in-kind gifts to support and encourage their efforts on this occasion.

Meanwhile, at the Children’s Discovery Museum Bangkok (Chatuchak), CSR and Sustainability team has partnered with the KHUN Foundation and The Petroleum and Petrochemical College, Chulalongkorn University, featured an engaging edutainment program. The activities combined fun games and educational sessions, raising awareness about PET plastic recycling, waste segregation, and climate change. With over 600 participants, including children and parents, the program emphasized recycling practices aligned with circular economy principles. Through interactive learning, participants discovered how proper waste management can help tackle global warming and reduce environmental challenges.

These events reflect Indorama Ventures' commitment to promoting sustainable practices and waste separation behavior in Thai families. Through our education program, we emphasize the importance of plastic recycling, climate change awareness, and responsible consumption, all working towards building a better, more sustainable future for all.
