Supporting Pink October for breast cancer awareness and employee well-being
A collaborative effort by Corporate CSR, EHS, and HR, Indorama Ventures organized a "Pink October" event at our head office in Bangkok, focusing on breast cancer prevention and employee well-being.
The "Health Talk: Breast Cancer Prevention" session focused on educating attendees about reducing breast cancer risk through healthy lifestyle choices, such as regular exercise, a balanced diet, and limiting alcohol intake. It emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy weight, regular screenings, and early detection, with participants encouraged to consult healthcare professionals for personalized prevention strategies.
We were also pleased to welcome our CSR partner, Thai Wacoal, for the “DIY Chemo Cap” activity. Over 35 employees participated, learning about routine self-checking of breast cancer symptoms and designing unique chemotherapy caps to be distributed to chemotherapy patients. This activity illustrates our commitment to community well-being through employee engagement and our belief that every small action leads to a healthier future
