Indorama Ventures launches community recycling program to empower waste collectors
In collaboration with Trash Lucky, an innovative waste management company, we successfully launched a Community Recycling Program from May to July 2024. This initiative has been designed to improve the quality of life, work efficiency, and professionalism of local waste collectors.
By providing comprehensive training and resources, the program equips participants with valuable insights into effective waste management practices, essential business acumen, leadership skills, and technical competencies.
During the three-month program, more than 10 waste collectors were trained and earned additional income, with more than 3 tons of post-consumer PET bottles collected for recycling.
This program supports the professional and personal growth of waste collectors and encourages the community to adopt sustainable waste management practices. Together, we can make a significant impact on our environment and society.
