Enhancing the local communities’ well-being and quality of life
Indorama Ventures have initiated community engagement activities focused on supporting the elderly, group of disabled and vulnerable community, enhancing the well-being and quality of life in difference regions and local context.
In the United States, Indorama Ventures Mobility Scottsboro celebrated the ‘Jackson County Christmas Charities’ annual program. The company supported 532 households, including 178 elderly and 186 disabled individuals, by providing household supplies, toys, clothing, and food. Additionally, the company contributed to developing the town infrastructure in the downtown center. This initiative promotes inclusivity and creates a positive societal impact, enhancing the Christmas experience for underprivileged locals.
In the Czech Republic, Indorama Ventures Schoeller Křešice s.r.o. has donated to charities in Litoměřice that support two residential services and other outreach services. The charities provide support to senior citizens, people with disabilities, the homeless, hospice patients, and others in need. The program aims to enhance the quality of life for local citizens and assist them in resolving crisis situations they may be unable to address independently.
These initiatives highlight the importance of community engagement and demonstrate the company's core values of empathy and social responsibility to making a difference in the lives of local community does not limit to children, elderly group of disabled and vulnerable.
