"Pink October Activity" as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Corporate CSR team joined hands with the EHS and HR Head Office (HRHO) teams to organize a "Pink October Activity" at Indorama Ventures’ Head Office in Thailand on 20 October 2023. The day included informative sessions and heartfelt initiatives.
The activities started with an EHS Health Talk, “Lady’s Secret” by Doctor Arun Tritanon, in which the employees learned about holistic women’s health care.
As part of a “DIY Chemo Cap” activity hosted by the CSR team, Indorama Ventures was honored to welcome their CSR partner, Thai Wacoal, who educated the participants on routine self-checking for breast cancer symptoms. The session concluded with a practical activity in which employees designed unique chemo caps that will be distributed to chemotherapy patients.
The HRHO team hosted the wrap-up activity, an easy “DIY Shirt Painting” session, intended for donation to the National Cancer Institute.
These activities emphasize the company’s focus on its people and their commitment to community well-being through employee-engagement activities.
