IVL collaborates with Thai Wacoal, Thailand’s top ladies’ lingerie brand, in the “PET bottles for a better tomorrow” campaign to launch a new product made from IVL recycled yarns
The “PET bottles for a better tomorrow” campaign is a collaboration between IVL and Thai Wacoal to develop a sustainable product that focuses on raw materials made from recycled yarn with eco-friendly methods to reduce water and energy use in the dyeing process.
Since October 2021, more than 20 tons of post-consumer PET bottles have been collected from communities and converted into high-quality yarns to produce eco-friendly lingerie and sleepwear products, including Wacoal employee uniforms.
By building a network of collaboration, we not only improve recycling but also bring benefits to the environment, people, and communities, as guided by our purpose of reimagining chemistry together to create a better world.
