Indorama Ventures Xylenes & PTA (IVXP) and Indorama Ventures Sustainable Solutions (IVSS) partner with Keep Alabama Beautiful (KAB) to promote recycling through education. KAB is a local non-profit organization with a mission to provide education, promote recycling and keep the state of Alabama free of litter. A ‘Share the Beach” activity is organized every year from May to October to clean over 50 miles of public and private beaches in the state and protect sea turtles during their nesting season. This year IVXP and IVSS donated 100 frabill nets to be used for the clean-up, equipment that makes scooping and sorting waste easier for participants. Waste materials are separate for correct disposal and recycling.

Indorama Ventures employees and families are encouraged to take part in this annual event to keep the beaches free of litter during nesting season and saving the sea turtle population.
