Indorama Ventures donates 1,000 vital PPE suits and 1,000 bedding sets to fight Covid-19
IVL donated 1,000 PPE suits made from recycled PET yarns to medical personnel at the front line of this COVID-19 pandemic. One PPE suit is made from approximately 18 PET bottles and the yarns are made from used PET bottles collected from around the country, including through our partners as part of their CSR programs. 500 of the PPE suits were donated to eight hospitals in Nakhon Pathom, 200 suits donated to the Naval Medical Department and another 300 suits were given to field hospitals at Thammasat Hospital and Nong Chok District in Bangkok. In addition, IVL is producing 1,000 bedding sets made of yarns 100% recycled from 45 PET bottles with virus and bacteria preventing properties. The company will donate to field hospitals at Thammasat Hospital and Nong Chok District.
