Zero Waste to Landfill Project by Indorama Polyester Industries (Rayong)
With a goal to minimize the amount of waste generated by the factory going to landfills, Indorama Polyester Industries in Rayong, Thailand has announced the “Zero Waste to Landfill”, aiming to be certified in this area by 2020. A campaign in this project was the promotion of reasonable use of carrying bags on World Environment Day 2020 with a “Farewell to Single-use Plastic Bags” strategy to raise awareness and change the behavior of employees at the site. In line with our policies, Indorama Ventures hopes to embed understanding of environmental issues and make a difference through everyday habits.
