The American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand Hosts Session on a Sustainable Lifestyle
IVL was invited to lecture at the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand on the topic of “A Sustainable Lifestyle and Applying the 3Rs in Daily Life” to 2nd year scholarship students from universities all over Thailand. Focusing on creating awareness, the session aimed to help students understand and adapt to the global situation by using resources efficiently through education on waste separation and recycling PET. IVL displayed the diverse products of recycled PET such as apparel, bags, and shoes which are made from recycled PET fiber, as well as food packaging like water bottle and food containers made from recycled PET pellets. The students were also shown examples of reusing, simply repeated use of the same object or to transform waste into crafts that can generate income for universities or communities in the future.
