COVID-19 Contributions

Indorama Ventures Companies in Rayong, led by Mrs. Natnicha Kulcharattham JVP of TPT Petrochemicals PCL, Mr.Somdech Chaisurin VP of Indorama Polyester Industries PCL and Mr.Yodchai Sopitwutiwong AVP of Indorama Petrochem Limited together with representatives of Thai Taffeta Company Limited, donated 300 PPE suits to Rayong Hospital as protection for medical personnel against COVID-19. This donation was accepted on behalf of Rayong Hospital by Ms.Saowanee Uitrakul Senior Nurising department and Ms.Puangruethai Chuathong Senior General Affairs.

The PPE suits delivered were Level 2 Coveralls, produced from 100% recycled PET fibers. IVL is the first company in Thailand to produce high standard recycled PET fibers for manufacture of PPE suits by Thai Taffeta, with one PPE suit made from 18 recycled PET bottles (size 600 ml). The PPE suits are qualified for medical use and is part of the project "Separate Bottles to Help Doctors” working in collaboration with Less Plastic Thailand, Thai Taffeta, T-Plus, TOA Paint and GoWith20.
