Indorama Ventures Polimeros S.A.’s Mini-Brigade Project at Creche Lar do Amanhã
With an objective to raise awareness on various societal values through educational activities, Indorama Ventures Polimeros S.A. supports schools in the community to arrange learning opportunities.
Every year, a new group of mini-brigade members of children aged 8-14 years old are formed. Employees from Indorama Ventures’ factory brigade will arrange a day of activities at the factory where children are able to accompany the daily routine of firefighters. They will be able to participate in activities including first aid training, use of fire extinguishers, care for accidents at height, among other functions of the brigade. Drawings are used after practical classes to check children's learning and understanding, and the closing training session for the brigade is held at the state fire station. The company has always been working closely with Creche Lar do Amanhã and hope to continue to support the children in their education and well-being.
