Indorama Company in Lithuania wins Gold Medal for Product of the Year
Bangkok: UAB Orion Global Pet, the Lithuanian subsidiary of Indorama Polymers Public Company Limited, one of Thailand's largest capacity PET and polyester producers, has been conferred a gold medal by the Confederation of Lithuanian Industries.
This prestigious award naming the company's product "Ramapet® N1" as product of the year was conferred by Dr. Bronislovas Lubys, the President of the Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists at a ceremony held in the Lithuanina National Gallery and was attended by the Prime Minister of Lithuania, Mr. Andrius Kubilius, the Minister of Economy the Minister of Industry and the Minister of Culture together with members of parliament and senior industrialists.
The General Director of UAB Orion Global Pet, Mr. O.P. Mishra said, "This is a great honor for our company as we are proud of our position as one of Lithuania's key industries. This award reflects the position we have created in Europe as a leader in the production of PET and has come because of the endeavors of the staff at Orion Global Pet on behalf of whom I received this accolade and therefore credit goes to the entire team."
Mr. DK Agarwal, CEO of parent company Indorama Polymers Public Company Limited in Bangkok expressed his delight with the prominent distinction conferred on the company, "We have always felt that the quality of our product was a cut above the rest and this recognition goes a long way to confirming to our customers that they are indeed receiving a top quality product in Ramapet N1."
Ramapet® N1 is a general purpose food grade PET copolymer resin that is suitable for a wide variety of containers. The resin offers good strength characteristics like dimensional stability and mechanical properties. Suitable for carbonated water, alcoholic beverages, pharmaceuticals, oils, agrochemicals, wide mouth containers and for APET sheet/film extrusion application. It is suitable for heat set blow molding that is used for warm fill applications.
