Indorama Ventures awarded CAC Certification
Bangkok, Thailand – 16 October, 2014 – Indorama Ventures recognized for its commitment to anti-corruption practices.
Indorama Ventures PCL has received CAC Certification awarded to companies who demonstrate their commitment to fighting against corruption through the implementation of policies and effective mechanisms by Thailand’s Private Sector Collective Action Coalition Against Corruption (CAC).
Indorama Ventures PCL initially declared its intention to join CAC in 2013 and has been improving its anti-corruption framework to ensure that implementation remains at the top of the operational drive and is embed in the company’s business culture.
IIn the picture: Mr. Souvik Roy Chowdhury, Vice President and Company Secretary, Indorama Ventures PCL, received the CAC Certificate from Mr. Pramon Suthivong, President of Anti-Corruption Organization Thailand (ACT). The ceremony was held at Thailand’s 5th National Conference on Collective Action Against Corruption on 16 October, 2014.
CAC is a project supported by the Thai Institute of Directors Association (IOD), the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce (JFCCT), the Thai Listed Companies Association, the Thai Bankers’ Association, the Federation of Thai Capital Market Organizations, the Federation of Thai Industries and the Tourism Council of Thailand.
