Dr. Nop Siwasilchai,Vice President for HR & Admin. (second from left), representing Indorama Petrochem Limited (IRPL), received the“Carbon Reduction Label” certificate from Mrs. Prasertsuk Chamornman, Deputy Executive Director Acting Executive Director of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization: TGO on 18 June 2013 at Energy Complex Building, Bangkok, Thailand.

Carbon Reduction Label certification is awarded to manufacturers that achieved reductions of at least 10% of greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the manufacturing process over the past year compared to its emissions levels in the baseline year. For IRPL, in 2012 we achieved a reduction of 17.96% of carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent emissions per ton of PTA (equivalent to 44.8775 Kg of CO2 emissions per tonne of PTA), compared to the same in the baseline year 2007. IRPL is one of only 50 companies in Thailand to received the certificate.
